I wormed my entire flock about a month. Only did it for round worm though. Today i was making a place for one of my broodies when i noticed on of the hens had pooped. It cought my eye when i noticed it moving. them worm was almost clear and about half an inch long. i am going to get some meds tomorrow from tractor supply if they have any. is it too late or what kind could it be? any help will be appericated.

it either is round worms which is what they look like
can use wazine either kind

also can be a tape worm
you need to get it from a vet it is called Droncit

I would have put it in the container to take to the vet

also after worming which will get the adult worms in the gut and should get the larvea in the blood stream

your chickens will be okay
and can't eat eggs for 2 weeks

I would then give them the
wet mash probiotic
1 qt of dry crumbles
1-1/2 qts of milk and 1/4 cup of yoguart
feed this three times first week
2nd week two times
then once a week for life of chickens

I also looked this up and gives this as a medication from a vet

Flubendazole is effective at a 60 ppm in diet, however it may not have a zero withdrawal in commercial egg layers. Check your local regulations.

Prevention
Control the intermediate hosts which is earth worms and beetles, or birds' access to them.
