What kind of wormer should you use?

I just found out my dog has round worms. I went to the vet and am treating her now. Should I worry about my chickens? I have never seen them get near any dog poo before so at first I was not to worried but now I am not so certain.

Dis your vet test the dog feces to confirm that it was round worm....would they test chicken feces also....and be able to prescribe the proper treatment?

I am going to call tomorrow to see if they will do chickens. They did test my dog and it was round worms only. Luckily no other kind of worms.
