Hi there- my chickens have worms. I have looked at the sketches and pictures of types of worms but cannot find any that I feel confident are the ones my girls have. Can anyone ID these for me, please? They are very active/wiggly and look like they have suction cups on one end. Thank you!

Yep, definitely tapeworms. Good call @Kiki
Purchase Equimax equine paste at a feed store and dose only the bird(s) that are showing tapeworm segments in feces.
Dosage is 0.16ml per 5 pounds of weight given orally to each tapeworm infected bird.

I just dosed my girls with safeguard- will that kill tapeworms? Also, how do I get rid of them in my coop and run? Thank you.

Safeguard wont get rid of tapeworms. Birds get tapeworms from eating an infected insect.
Whatever bird ate the infected insect is the bird that you treat with the Equimax.

Is it safe to treat them all? I don’t know which one has them. Also, is it okay to use equimax the same day I used safeguard?
