another thing is that after I got the name from people I looked up images,,,so does the males have a little pouchy looking thing under it's neck by the throat kinda like a chicken? Because this one does not have one.

How much do you think it was worth, being so friendly and all...was it worth $42? I would assume not but the expression on my little boys face when he found it, it was going home with us was PRICELESS!!!!

Yup, its a male. Males have high pitches voices, and females have low deep voices. There are non dewlap and dewlap varieties of Toulouse. yours is a non dewlap.

this one gets my vote.
orange feet and bill.. and females seem to have more of a "rudder" than a male.. the males underside is more flat between the legs..

you got your money's worth.. you would have paid a lot more for a dog..

Do boys and girls HISS? Or is it a gender thing? Am I right that geese need a buddy? You might have to go get it a friend.

(also a new Toulouse owner!!)

Does mine look like a male or a female to you?
Does yours fly, I would hate to loose it, I may clip the wings as a safety measures. Is it the same as a chicken....don't want to cut it to far down!!

Ive noticed that only my males hiss. My females have never hissed.

They cant fly at all. If they get a running start, they will only get about 1 foot off the ground.

Im waiting for my girls to start laying.
