what laid this egg should i try to hatch it?

this thing was found in a car i got about five years ago. i almost threw it away today but decided to ask you all about it first. do you think i should sell it? how much? do you want to buy it? i know nothing about it.

I would try taking it to an antique dealer first. They should be able to (hopefully) give you an honest, unbiased opinion, or maybe direct you to someone who can. Don't throw it away till you know what you've got. I think it is very pretty. I would hang onto it myself. Good luck!

Yeah I say hatch it and then breed from the chick!!!!!!! You could end up with loads just like this one!!!! Why sell one when you can sell many!!
By the looks of the shell and colours I think it must be???????????
- a rare breed - the greater crested eggspertlypaintingfowl who's eggs can hatch after long periods of time. left like good wine they take time to mature slowely unlike the lesser crested little known modernfowlart bird who's eggs often just explode in random colours all over the place with little affect and much wastage!
