what laid this egg should i try to hatch it?

I thought it looked enameled, but all I found were Faberge and Faberge Style eggs online, which this is not. I had not seen Pysanky like that before, usually geometric patterns. The interesting part to me is the gold wired attached to the the pattern. It's a very pretty egg none the less.

That is a type of cloisonne enamel --

Pysanky is the technique of using dyes and waxes to create intricate patterns on eggs --

I'm wondering if it's an actual decorated egg, or if it's resin or some other material. Is it lightweight or does it feel more solid?

Yea, now that looks more like it. A quick search shows several of that style, some with the wire as well. And it looks like they sell for a nice price.
