I've had 2 chicks who were almost completely zipped, and trying to get out. I usually don't help but after 24 hours they still could not get out,so I helped them, the membrane was completely stuck to them. My humidity appeared to be 73% I know there was enough due to the condensation on windows any suggestion?

Air will definitely dry out the egss, try adding a few drops of water onto the eggs so it's easier for the chick to break the membrane.

I'm stumped the only time I opened the bator was on day 18. I candled them, put water in it, then closed. I didn't even open it again until they appeared to need help. Well who knows they both appear to be fine.

I spray down my eggs with warm water. it normally does the trick.
