What meat bird crosses work for you?

I have seen the Cornish X's and from what I hear they maybe aren't the best. I am wondering have you crossed some chickens and made yourself a decent meat bird? What breeds did you cross?

If you want to avoid the Cornish Cross, do these:

I have personally crossed my Dark Cornish rooster with:

DC x Barred Rock: decent
DC x Speckled Sussex: decent
DC x Black Sex Link: decent
DC x Freedom Ranger: best results

I say they are all decent, it's just the shape and body conformation which is wrong. They taste great, but you just can't go out and sell birds like that. The DC x Freedom Rangers gave me the heavist birds in the least ammount of time.

What I really need to do is keep line breeding the Dark Cornish to get larger sires.
