I noticed a week or more ago that one or two has black tar poop. didn't think it was big deal because i gave them a free range block with molasses . now some have watery diarrhea . They are laying and don't act sick. only symptoms is the change in poop .

Do i need to worm? (never have) i bought some wazine
I feed them medicated chick feed when they were chicks.could it be cocci?
I wasn't sure about crop issues? they all seem normal not spongy, full of grain at night..they have been in my flowerbed eating bugs ,maybe ate mulch?

I've been searching threads and don't want to give antibiotics if not sick. i added ACV to the water.

Please any advice welcome.

If all are acting normal other than the Runny Poop, I would try the worming avenue. Mine were getting runny also and I wormed them with Valbazen 1/2 ml per large bird, 1/4 ml for small birds given orally. Search the forums for this one. Wazine only hits some of the worms, so i did not use it only the Valbazen.

totally agree. Wazine is only for roundworms. You can also Looking into Safeguard, the one for horses or sheep, or the topical cattle ones like Eprinex (which will also kill tickes, lice etc as a bonus). Eprinex is more expensive, but it's really good.

ps. adding a tbps of apple cider vingar (organic, unprocessed) per gallon of water helps their tummies too (but will NOT worm them). Don't use in a metal waterer though, just plastic/non reactive materials.

They should be wormed at least once a year, more if they free reange.
