Ok so we just hatched our first batch of eggs.(It went fairly well BTW) I noticed that my kids would come in every day and ask if we had any new "SLIMEYS" We did a staggerd hatch so they did this for a week. I now call the new hatchers slimeys as well. I think we all should start this trend

I'm not suprirsed a person called Grog is hatching slimeys!

here are two quick pics... there is a 12 day spread between the youngest and oldest. In the mix the mothers are-2 americanas, 2 cochin(only 1 baby from her

), 1 Turken, 1 black star. Dad was a jiggilo I used to get this started he looked to be an americana as well.

now to clarify they are only "slimeys" untill they dry out then they are "peeps" They stay peeps untill they start to cluck then they are "Chick-chick-chick-chickens!!!!"
