What new type of coloring do you think would be possible/cool to creat

In some breeds the pointy protruberances are called for and in others not. They are cuased by a separate gene. I personally do NOT like them. I can certainly see why the OP called her roos comb coral. I was thinking coral as in colour, She mean coral as in sea creatures,

Ahh, so he does have a rosecomb... just a differnt one? most people i asked had no clue what his comb was. Is it because his is large and bigger than most rosecombs like redcaps?

It is a poorly formed rosecomb. Notice the symetry of Year of the Rooster's & Katy's birds as compared with yours.

It's not the size, but the shape which is off.

Rose comb is a dominant trait, and offshaped ones do seem to carry though, so back to your original question, yes, his comb will likely pass to hsi progeny. If paired with a bird with a pea comb you will get birds with true walnut combs.

He may also be carrying the trifid comb gene, and yes it carries through. It is very hard to get rid of

If you like his comb, by all means breed for it. Just realize that it is not to standard.

I think that i will try to breed him with my 3 EE girls and see if i cant get walnut combs. do you have a picture of what they look like?
If i where worried about standard of perfection i probably wouldnt have any of the birds i have today... most are mutts from hatcheries.
I was just trying to make some colorful chicks for my flock
