Hi everyone!
Lastnight I bought some chicks at rural king and I think the guy helping me had no idea what breeds they were. I know the black and white ones are copper Marans. But the others I’m not 100% sure. Help please?!?

Is #1 clean legged or feathered? I'm guessing #3 is a Black Australorp, #4 a Lavender Orpington, and #5 a Buff Orpington. But it's hard to tell for sure until they're fully feathered out.

Could #4 be a Sapphire gem? Looks a lot like mine when they were chicks.
Guessing #5 is a Buff Orpington.
Very adorable chicks! :love

Ok, depending on leg color, i think you have a silver spangled appenzeller spitzhauben for #1.
(This one is almost a week, im not impressed with this batchs coloring right now, but things drastically change in a few weeks.)

If in about 3 weeks it starts looking like this, you'll know fore sure. The legs are a lighter bluish greenish tinge when they are young and gets darker when older.
(This is one of my favs from my first batch.)

Hope this helps and you figure out your mystery!
