ROFL!! Sorry!! That's too funny.

It is true that in most parts of the country you must have a permit in order to keep wild birds. Personally, if you're only hatching & brooding birds that would otherwise have died (like eggs in a field that was about to be plowed), I don't have a problem with it. I do think it's wrong to take eggs away from their natural mothers if the mother is and can still care for them. But it sounds like these are eggs that were in the path of "progress" and wouldn't have made it anyway. Just be careful, because you can get into trouble over it.

It's awesome that your family supports your raising all these critters. What a great experience!!

supporting is one thing lol but not even close to how my family sees it, none of them besides my brother ccousin and aunt likes it, but they dont care because I make it at my most to keep it all to myself and not have to have any times where I have to depend on them for something about my animals so theres no complaints LOL

MY GOODNESS, check out them there legs!

What are you gonna do with Stilts!?! You must be a very good hen because the few times I have found wild peepers they haven't done well...
The Muscovy ducklings some guy found on the road were the only little wild things that I ever actually raised sucesfully...
Good job!
