What plants survive around chickens and ducks?

we have a very sloped hill and to control the erosion we planted clover.. its roots stop the erosion and the chickens eat it.. they love it but they only eat the leaves.. and the clover just keeps growin.. it smells nice too. we did red clover and arrow leaves? but it works great for both. i think i read something about the white flower kind not being good for them but i know the red is fine

Those are gorgeous! But I'm not sure how they grow in my climate, I'll have to look them up. I use Sunset Garden Book for that.....but they didn't have a category for what outlasts chickens and ducks! They have a category that is plants that deer don't like, but I want to make sure I stay away from poisonous plants, at least if they would be tempting to eat.

I wonder how the list of "deer hardy" plants would survive chickendom and not be dangerous for them.
