I am interested in growing some veggies in pots because I have no more space in my outdoor garden. In my garden I have bell peppers, tomatoes, and beans. What veggies will do well in pots ( indoors)?

Almost everything does well in pots, as long as you allow the right amount of soil per type of plant, and set the pot in the right area. And if you do corn, you have to have a LOT of pots so it will pollinate ok. Unless you live in the southernmost states (or a different country,) it's too late for any warm weather plants outside. But you can still do lettuce, chard, spinach, or kale... even carrots in a 12" pot. Keep in mind that you need a window that gets at least 8 hours of direct sun, or a VERY good plant light.

Chard is a great choice right now. It does well in pots with good soil and can do well in the shorter days and lower light conditionns coming up. It can even be left outside for a long time as cool weather can actually make it flourish when other plants are shutting down.

I think im going to grow greens like lettuce and kale. Do they need full sun?

Hope it's not too late to answer! Lettuce needs less sun than just about anything else you can grow, but will want at least 5 hours a day, and it doesn't have to be direct sunlight. I believe kale likes more... and they both can go outside to get it, even if it's below 32 degrees. They're such beautiful plants to grow!
