What predator got my rabbit kits?

So I went out to feed all the rabbits and they were all fine. But when a severe storm started to roll in an hour later. I went to go cover the cage with all the baby kits. I found one of the kits pulled through the cage with one leg and the stomach completely eaten the head was still stuck in the cage. There was no blood left behind on the floor either All the other kits were fine. So I got a tarp and some hardware cloth and made a makeshift berior to the cage. I am wondering what kind of preadator would reach through cage wire and drag a 4 week old kit out. I will build them a new cage tomorrow morning. Does anyone know what kind of predator it could been?

The holes are 1 in by 2in, and they were in my barn

My rabbit has had several litters in the same cage in the same spot with no problem in the past. I wonder why I had a problem all the sudden it is just really sad to happen upon the kit. I will be making a new cage tomorrow: higher up and with smaller wire holes.

Do you have rats? Racoon seems highly likely. It will be back so bring them inside.

yep. Coon with there little hands. They will pull out whatever they can and leave the rest of the body
