What Rooster to put with ny hens???

Hi there, I have some lavander araucana hens, I want to breed easter eggers and have nice lookig chickens and eggs??? thanks

You could get an EE roo to keep the blue/green eggs in the offspring or you could get a marans and breed for olive eggers.

Id love some easter egger roosters, but araucans arent really a big breed over here in Ireland so not many people breed them. What about a goldlaced orpington? I have a few spare. My cousin had a maran x araucana rooster for sale, but he is on the other side of the country. thanks

The orp would probably "wash out" your egg color but the birds would be pretty. I wish I had a gold laced orp to add to my flock (I already have buff and white).
