I personnaly only sell the extras, what we don’t eat. This makes it so I’m not Losing money by buying feed. I sell them for $6 a dz, and it’s actually cheaper than the grocery stores because I live in a way to expensive area. Selling eggs makes sense if you have extra, it helps keep keeping chickens more affordable. (I only have brown eggs btw)
Fair point. But 72 eggs is a lot of eggs which a reason to sell eggs. If you had an overwhelming amount of eggs then (if you were able to sell them) selling them is a good idea I think. I have never had enough eggs to sell and I probably won’t. But for someone one that just has way too many eggs it is a good way to make a little money.
72 eggs would be gone in three days in my household. It's a blessing to have food produced at home
That's what I am planning to do. I think a pretty mix of colors would sell better.

Well, for some people 72 eggs would be a month's supply.I agree! Especially blue eggs, I think they are just so pretty. And cool to people who don't know much about chickens.
