What sex a duck is?

How long do you have to wait to find out the sex? Is there things to look for? I have 3 two are 3 weeks and one is 6 weeks

Aww. Your ducklings are adorable! It's easiest to wait until they are adults, (obviously) but you can usually tell at about 8 weeks.

What breeds are they? some have features that makes them easier to tell than others. Otherwise if mallard derived it's usually voice.. roughly by about 6wks you start to hear some voice changing for those ventured for girls, ie; the quack .

Awesome thank you first time duck owner here so is the voice very different between males & females? Also heard if it has a curl to its tail its male? We tried vent sexing but thats just too hard :/ it all looks the same.. Yellow is ancona & other two not t

O sure yet, lady said maybe swedish or mix? So guess we will just tell as they grow just hoping i got more Hens then Drakes im already so attached..
