I would guess maybe 2 or three months, possibly younger. At least 2 months for being fully feathered and with those looks.

not necessarily., the mottled cochin in the above thread is a hen. And she is about their age, probably a little older.

in do agree that the bird looks more like a rooster. But in the cochin breed, either gender can grow a comb faster than the others, then suddenly stop. So its possible it is a hen, but most likely its a roo.

Tk for the input. I was lookin forward to raising both together but sadly ill have to get rid of the roo if thats the case due to neighbors. Seem like good natured sweet birds. My first cochins !
