What should I be feeding my girls??

I'm kind of stuck on what I should be feeding to my flock. I have three older laying hens, five pullets (2 are laying so far), and four younger pullets that won't be laying for about three to five weeks. What is the best feed choice for my mixed flock?

You are in that stage where either way is fine. You can stick with the chick feed for everyone and add oyster shells or you can move everyone over to the layer. Me? I'd just finish out the bag of chick feed and work on switching them over. Mix them together 50/50 until the chick starter is gone. You can put out oyster shells to make up for the lower Ca or just feed back the egg shells (they're free!!) for the ones that are already laying.
