i see some people around here selling chicks for $1 or $1.50 and have been tempted to go buy them and resell them for what they are worth. their worth is what someone will pay for them around here. day old chicks sell like hotcakes at $3 to $3.50. i was willing to pay over $8 per chick to get some cubalayas that i needed. i think a good hen or point of lay pullet is worth $15 and more for rare breeds.
