ducklover1- What is your avatar a picture of? I have been looking at it for the past few minutes and can't seem to figure it out.

It's a duck resting it's head on someone's hand. It's bill is to the left side of the picture.​

It does sort of look like a guinea pig, if you don't look at it's bill. It all depends how you look at it.

If you look online a package of nice, colored 7 to 11 inch saddle feathers are $40.00 before shipping. These are the real feathers, long, that can be washed, flat ironed and curled.

There is not a shortage of feathers

, there are several farms that have been raising birds for these paticular feathers for years. They have just now got popular with us.

I know here in Texas, a feather will start out at $10.00 and then most hair dressers charge $15.00 up to put it in your hair. I know highway robbery. I bought the tools and beads myself and I use our guinea feathers mainly

which happen to be my favorite and assorted other feathers. I dont pluck my chickens they lose enough all by themselves.

Your friend should have a pretty good idea on how much money to send you, depending on the feathers.

Then see what I mean, she has a very good idea on what to pay you for the feathers.

She should be able to look at them and see which one's will be usable and send you a fair price. Or do your hair for free.......
