What should i do about duck housing

okay, if i only had 1 duck and I made a 2ft by 3ft would it be good

Ducks need to be kept in pairs, they will get very lonely and stressed if they aren't housed with other ducks.

If it's a House/run combo, I would aim for 5 sqft per duck in the coop and 15-20sqft in the run.

A 10X10 metal dog run that's covered with a dog house is all you need. I use vapour barrier plastic on the sides to block out wind.

Also you don’t want your coop but about a foot off the ground or they will have trouble getting into it. You also want a secure run which means if you use a dog kennel you’ll have to wrap in hardware cloth to keep predators like raccoons from reaching in and trying to pull a duck through the fence and pulling off a head.
