What should I do with her?

I have a chicken that is acting like she is egg-bound, she has been like this for about 2 days too. I have tried a lot of stuff but nothing really helped. What I do? I don't want her to die or be in pain.

Welcome to BYC. Can you give her a human calcium citrate tablet with vitamin D or a Tums today? That can help her pass an egg. Usually if they are having normal poops, they are not egg bound.

Usually egg bound chickens can't poop, or if it does, it'll just be a little bit of liquid.

What symptoms make you think she's egg-bound, and what "stuff" did you try?

Do you have a picture of her? That would help.

She would not eat, drink, she had decreased activity, fluffed feathers and squawking in distress. I could also feel a fully developed egg in her. I tried to bath her with Epson salt. I gave her tums and gently massaged her underside. I also put oil on her vent. But then she just acted worse. I am sorry but I do not have a picture of her.

I would not give her a bath anymore, sometimes this can be very stressful for them.

I'd give her the Extra Calcium and place her in a quiet place with some water and food, see if she's able to expel the egg or material. I wouldn't feel inside the vent for an egg either, that seems to be painful for them.
