What should I do with my sick rooster?

I have a large black rooster named Darryle. I have eleven hens and two roosters. As you know when you put two roosters together for the first time they're going to fight. That was three or so months ago and about two weeks ago my big red rooster Skitty starts attacking him again. My father said his first injury would be fine and they chickens were hardy and he'd take care of himself, but one week ago he was a strong healthy rooster. Since then things have gotten worse. Skitty injured Darryle again today. A big injury on his tail. I didn't realize it until this Monday but Skitty has been abusing Darryle and not letting him eat. In one week he went from healthy to sick and starving. I gave him special attention for a couple days and he was back on his feet. Now today he's even worse. I'm confindent I can get him better but if he goes back into the pen I'll be dealing with this every two weeks. What should I do with Darryle. I've found I can only heal a chicken twice. Then it dies. If I send him back out there I'll come home one morning and he'll be dead. Should I give him away or try my luck again?

Seperating him isn't and option. It's too cold this time of year.

! Pleased you joined us! I have to agree with 1muttsfan. If Skitty has gotten the best of Darryle it will just continue to happen. I think you need to keep them apart or only keep one. Sorry. Hope it works out for you!
