I have 2 barred rock hens and they had laid 2 eggs each so when I went over to feed them they were fighting over the eggs one is broody the other isn't one of them grabbed the broody hen by the neck I have them separated the broody is inside my house and the other is outside with the rooster I can't put her with my baby chicks because she would kill them what should I do let her hatch the 3 eggs or take them away

my mom said I can't hatch more with a incubator because it fried the chicks but it was at 99.5 but I can hatch them naturally with a hen

Did you calibrate thar incubator?

If you want and can have more chicks, just let mama do her job. If you can't have more chicks, break her broodiness

yes I made sure the temperature and humidity was right

What other thermometers did you use to calibrate? Certain ones are better than others

I used infrared it said the same as the incubator
