Better, IMO, to get/make a waste free feeder.

You could wet it.....kind of a pain tho.

Fermented feed can have some benefits if you're interested in a wet feed.

Sometimes I can only get flock raiser in crumble. The adults have an easier time eating it wet, especially if it's a powdery batch.

I always use the crumble....I am amazed how much they clean up even the 'dust' out of the bottom of feed bucket.
Tho I have wet the dust at times to use it up tho, if it accumulates .

I feed all flock 18% from Rural King. $12.00 a bag. Plus I have a feeder full of oyster shells for them. Whenever I am home they free range so they get a mix.

Why not just switch everyone to starter or grower? So much simpler.

when they r little like that I like to gv them fermented medicated feed.

Medicated feed is safe for everyone to eat for a few weeks. There is no withdrawal period for amprolium. It's completely safe.
