What should I feed my chickens?

My chickens are almost a year old. What should I be feeding them, like specific brands? I forget what they have now, but they are going through it way to fast, so I worry that it isn't that nutritious. Any ideas?

It may be a lack of nutrition but it could also be many other factors. They may be wasting more than you think if you are feeding crumbles. Pellets are much more economical. You could also have a rodent problem that you are not aware of. If feeding them only in the daylight hours is an option instead of leaving a feeder out 24/7 that may help. If they are laying you should be feeding a feed that is around 16% protien. Hope this helps.
