Thank you! Yes with the cold, muddy wet feathers freezing would be a disaster! I have a few GLW at the farm, maybe I’ll get a different color next year!

I like the blg, but I think Hoover's is the only place that sells them.on purpose. Mine is actually more blue, it's just not a great picture

Silkies and polish are also good options as silkies are docile, but they aren’t cold hardy
