My RSL is pretty, friendly and lays huge eggs. My RIR pullet is much the same, but somewhat more demanding.

What chickens lay blue and green eggs?

Ameracaunas will lay blue or green eggs. Easter Eggers, which are almost always what you get from a hatchery, can lay any color egg- including blue, green, and pink. They're very friendly.

Gold sex links are big, beautiful hens that start laying fairly early (at least ours did). We get a big, brown occasionly speckled egg from each of them every day, on a regular schedule.

And they're VERY friendly.
