My Wyandotte hens are such sweethearts and amazing layers. I.S.A Browns lay HUGE eggs pretty much everyday. Someo of the eggs we have gotten from the brown won't fit in the carton

i haven't been on this site in a long time, but i have four hens, one rooster. buff orp girl is on the dumb side. i don't think that's specific to her breed, just her, but she lays big beautiful eggs. my black australorp, barred rock & silver laced wyandotte also lay faithfully. i have nothing but good things to say about these breeds for personality & laying beautiful brown eggs. these four girls & my great big beautiful black australorp rooster are the perfect family.

A Brahma, big calm friendly chickens. Might be a little slow to start laying eggs but they are good layers once they get going.
