New mummy to 2 silkies and have read about all sorts of worms, mites etc that they can become infected with. Anyone tell me what if anything I should give them as a preventative measure on a regular basis?

Green as a cabbage about all this stuff:/

I wouldn't.

Mine haven't been given anything. You can keep medicines on hand in case you encounter something like that. It's very rare though with a small group of chickens.

Now if you were a huge hatchery with hundreds of chickens... I would definately be vaccinated them because they're bound to have at LEAST one ill chicken that has something contagious.

Thanks for that:): ..out of interest, what should I keep for those kind of probs?...feeding organic feed etc and trying to avoid chemicals if poss.

I don't think you'd have to worry about mites or worms as long as you keep them on clean ground and don't let them get really dirty.

Foodwise, I feed mine poultry pellets, scratch, and mash.
No medicated stuff for mine.

Thank you for your time and advice, much appreciated
