What should I know about Silkes?

Title says it all.. I was thinking about ordering some Silkes along with more hens soon (more chickens, right?)

Anyway, should I know anything specific about their personalities, care to keep their feathers nice, egg laying, etc.? Thank you in advance! :)

They don't roost (at least 95% of mine don't)

Aren't fast to treats.
Most are easily handled.
Not the brightest chicken for sure.
They will go broody on you. I'll bet anything on it :p

White silkies get dirty very easily.
They are picked on by standard sized birds.
They're funny and cute.

Oh and God help you when it rains. They won't go for cover. They look like drowned rats. :gig
