I read that Silkies often go broody and make good mother so in the future you will have mother hen to hatch out eggs for you.This will be my first flock!

I have not use incubator before so I don't have experience in this to share with you, other members here will give you tips on this.

With candling the eggs, you will see some development around the 4th day from my experience and near the hatching day you will hear the baby chick making tiny sound.
