My Golden rockets are approximately 5-7 weeks old. They have most of their actual feathers and just a little bit of down left on their heads. We've been feeding them starter chick feed and I want to expand their diet. I've seen lots of things in the forum that I CAN feed them, so I'd like to know for sure what I SHOULDN"T feed them to be sure I dont hurt our new family members! thank you!

There is a good list of things not to feed chickens at the bottom of the treats page. You can find a link to the treats page at the very top of the "Feeding and Watering Your Flock" section. Then scroll down to the end of the treats and there's a list of things that you shouldn't feed.

Can't add much to what flockof4 said except be sure to give them grit if they are going to be eating anything other then their starter.

thank you, how long will they be eating their starter? they just devour it i was worried it wasnt filling them up enough...

The starter is great. Let 'em gobble it up. If you're using medicated starter you can probably switch to non-medicated around 8-10 weeks (some people will suggest later, you're choice). And then consider switching to layer feed around 18 weeks or your first egg.
