What should I use for my brooder floor?

What should I use for the floor of my brooder? I have some 1/4 inch hardware cloth I could use, but other than that I dont know what I could use or should use. I need to build it today, so any help asap would be awesome!

I dug down about 6" and burried regular poultry wire then covered it with the removed dirt just in case anything tries to make atunnel under and into my box but use what you have on hand...

We used leftover puppy training pads from our dog and they workeed great as we needed to use them anyway... they worked great and were really easy to clean
