What should my next breed be?!

Right now i have: Icelandics, Welsummers, Barred Rocks, Light Sussex's, Basques and Easter Eggers. I also have Dorkings, but I have decided to replace them with a new breed! So what do you guys think? I really am interested in Marans- i love a colourful basket. I like good egg layers and hardy birds.

My Marans lay pretty good. But what about keeping your BR and getting some AM's or EE and breeding them to your barred rocks or Marans or even wellies to get olive eggers. just a thought for a colorful basket.

Yes!! Oliver Eggers would be awesome. The EE's i have now actually lay a light olive colour eggs/minty green egg (depends on the day haha). Have you ever had barnevelders? They look like a gorgeous breed ( plus i like the dutch heritage!).

To get olive eggs is it best to breed EE roosters to dark laying hens, or vice versa?
