my dad wanted to know what should should I feed my chickens so they lay more eggs any suggestions

Layers feed would be better. Has more calcium and the nutrients they need to lay eggs. Cracked corn (I don't believe) is a complete feed and won't give them everything they need.

i also wanted to ask at what age show you start to give them layer because i got some other chickens as well that are younger than my leghorn

Generally layer feed is started after 18 weeks or so. Whenever they start laying. For a flock with mixed ages. I'd feed a starter or grower feed with oyster shell offered separate. Only the ones who need the extra calcium will eat the oyster shell.
