To me that looks like a silkie mix. He's definitely a rooster.
 
Oh no not another rooster. That means another I will have to rehome. He makes the 4th rooster out of the 20 chickens total. This makes me sad, he's so cute.

Yes, your rooster is a buff silkie mix rooster, it's hard to tell though what he's crossed with. I hope you find him a good home!

I'm sorry! It's always disappointing when they turn out to be roosters and you can't keep them.

No, finding out he's a rooster is not good. Now to convince my grandson we need to let him go. He named 2 chickens. The funny thing is they were both roosters. I'm thinking he does not get to name anymore. Lol
 
Definitely a rooster and both are mixes - they should have black skin and combs,
