I’m sorry - I have to respectfully disagree. The words “pretty” and “spider” in the same sentence do not work for me. Unless we’re talking about a “pretty big” or “pretty ugly” spider. “Fascinating”, maybe. Or “interesting”. And a tarantula? Nope! Just nope!

Well, i moved my 2020 Fall Ducklings from their Kiddie-Pool brooder into their new temporary home and had to walk seven times back and forth, always passing by that spider. Now she is no longer looking so intimidating…
