Is it working? If it's working it's not a dumb idea no matter how it looks. Not sure that fan will push enough air though. is it airflow or static pressure and what rpm?

According to the box it can run at a max of 1800RPM. I think it's running at max right now.

The box says "Air Pressure" is 2.5mm.

It seems to keep it pretty cool and there's also a side intake fan that was on the case.

Is that graph you posted at idle or under load? My gpu runs at 50c at idle generally. Fans at 0 rpm.
