what temperature can ducks stay in?

is 36° (fahrenheit) to cold for 1 year old ducks? it’s been around that temperature this past week and i was wondering if it’s to cold for them?

we made them a safe area to play outside alone (where we can see them from inside to make sure the are safe of course) and let them stay out there all day today. we brought them in tonight as the temperatures went down to 32° and below but i was wondering how cold ducks can play outside in?

We get down into the -20- -30 Fahrenheit sometimes in the winter and mine are fine. Here 32 degrees is a warm winter day. Just make sure they have bedding to stand on. My muscovy continue to take baths all winter long. Duck are really hardy creatures.

My adult ducks had no problems when the temperatures were down to -22 F. I was not happy to see them out but they hated to be inside. After being locked up for a day or so they would go outside and roll in the snow for joy. I made sure thy had plenty of thawed water so they would be well hydrated. I also made sure that they could not get into the water and get their feathers wet.
