My three older chicks need to move outside soon but it seems too cold… they’re much too big for their current brooder and want to run around and play but it’s still snowy outside, currently 39 Fahrenheit but it’s usually a little colder. What’s the coldest I can move them out in? I have a heated closed up coop but it will be open during the day

How old are they? They look pretty feathered I moved my first group out when it was CHILLY 40s days and 30s at night when they were 6 weeks old.. I tried to bring them in one night when it was dropping to 28 and they got MAD. They far preferred the space in the coop to the warmth in the brooder at that point. So I took them back out and they’ve been there since lol.

Biscotti… I’m not positive, should be breeding by June. I ended up putting them in the coop due to him starting to try to crow and him fighting with the other cockerel. My hens aren’t even picking on them it’s amazing, usually they’re so mean
