62.2F Friday 9:56am finally stopped pouring and thundering. Poor air conditioner guy got soaked but said he wanted to finish what he started.

Everyone is all like uhhh your chickens will be fine outside when they don't even understand how brutal this Florida sun is. Plus the vet said to keep them out of the heat as much as I can so she can heal and she is lol but it's about summer 2018 so

Ragna- I can understand why your chickens would be miserable outside. Some people enjoy blistering heat - I do not! With high humidity the suffering is even worse.

Watermelon is great for hot chickens, gets more liquid into them and they love it. Also
shallow pans of cool water to stand in. Cool feet, cool bird. Moving air feels cooler, so a fan where birds cannot reach it, will help as well.
