ok i was given another bunch chicks. one is suppose to be a polish but he has 5 toes and clean legs. any cules?

Polish don't have feathered legs. It looks like your chick has a "fro". Polish chicks have a very fluffy head almost like a cotton ball was stuck on. Hard to tell from your picture if it has the crest or not, the rest of the chick looks polish to me.

My Polish have 4 toes, I'm guessing you have a houdan.

it's a mottled houdan! I have three of them and they looked exactly like that. 5 freakish toes and all!! congrats
here is mine for comparison:
a few days old

about 4 weeks old

they are 6 weeks old now, and their crests are really something to look at. they definitely stand out from all the others lol

thank you all. its a houdan, now i need a name. and find out what sex. i know most breeds you cant tell tilllater. but some have difrent marking or colors. any clue on the sex or is it a wait and see.
