What the heck do these mean...HELP

Can someone please tell me what these terms mean:
pipping
zipping

and any other advice you can give to a begginer. I have eggs in the bator due on the 25-27(2 might be double yokers) and then more on the 4th. and i dont know what i am supposed to do exactly. i know the basics but i dont know more than that....please help

under "incubating and hatching eggs" department in this web site will tell you more than you can understand and comprehend in a life time. start clicking....
 
"Pipping" refers to the tiny hole or crack that the chick makes in the shell when it first begins to hatch. There is usually a rest interval then before the chick makes its circular pattern of breakage around the eggshell so that it can emerge from the egg (referred to on BYC as "zipping").

Pipping
means when they first make a hole in the egg...sometimes you just see a crack.

Zipping
means that they are opening the egg all around...much like a zipper.
