What the heck is a DH??

I'm laughing because I'd never heard that term before this forum either. I assumed it was Northern speak; differences in region. Now I know I also thought it was "Dear Heart" though...same concept, less gender specific.

I am glad I'm not the only one who didn't know what a DH is.
Though there is no clear concensus on the exact meaning, it is clear that it refers to husbands.
