Are we sure that came from a chicken or that the chicken is still alive? If so all I can think of is like was sort of mentioned it's a bunch of egg membrane layered together. I'm still not sure how something like that came out of a chicken.

it looks like a fart egg that sat in the membrance shop to get layers of layers of membrane on it.. then the hen eventually expelled the nasty mass.. jmo though..

I'm sure it came for one of them there is no one else in the area and the area is closed off. both hens are still alive.The White Leghone layed about 2 days ago and the Rhode Island Red layed about 9 days ago.

I gess I'll just ask both of them who did it and what is this thing ????

It's a mal-formed egg. Happens from time to time, it's possible that the hen that laid it will just lay ok eggs from now on, a fluke, or she may lay more of these and in increasing numbers.
