What the heck is wrong with my roo??

*I had a hard time figuring out where to post this, hope this is okay*

I have noticed his beak open before, but just figured it was because he was hot. I do not spend much time with the Ameraucanas, mainly because they are in the middle coop and it is difficult to access, also because well they just aren't as friendly/curious and some of the other breeds I have. Anyhow, I really noticed his beak today and it is concerning me! What the heck is going on with him?? He won't close his beak at all, and when I make it close it is slightly off... not real bad, but noticable. Is this cross-beak? But wondering why he will not keep it closed. I also noticed that he is not able to eat grass (I pick grass and throw it in to the chickens runs, they love it)

Could you try trimming the top beak? Maybe it has grown to the point where it's in the way? I'm not sure..

Sounds like some variation of cross beak, which I have not had to deal with. This site lists top beak overgrowth and talks about what to do about it:
